Our goal at reefnook is to provide the marine aquarist with the tools and knowledge not only to keep a marine aquarium, but to have a thriving ecosystem. Create a reef, add your critters and a controller and let us do the heavy lifting. Happy Reefing!
I changed the url scheme around a bit, so your [share] links and other links to your reef tank shouldn't be quite as..... disgusting. I also added an email alert for a non-functioning controller after 1 day. I plan on adding another setting for a user defined time period for a non functioning controller in the future. Reefnook will stop trying to contact your controller after 4 days. You can always update your controller info to get it rolling again.
Support was added for getting real-time data from your controller. From your controller page, click [Get current status] to ping the latest results from your controller. This only works if you own the controller, that is, its not a publicly browseable link.
I have adjusted logs and controllers to write everything as UTC time. This means that each user should be able to view each log and controller timestamp in the appropriate timezone. I won't lie, this is going to be a big pain for a day or two because your data is going to look a little funky from the change over. I created an accounts section, look at the top, between the reefnook logo and the advertisement, that you can see when you log in. Click that section and adjust your timezone accordingly. I have defaulted everyone to US/Central for the time being. Please bare with me here, it's better for everyone in the long run.
